October is the month the season stops easing in and starts stacking up. The month starts with countries, and once that window shuts the Premier League runs four matchweeks without pausing. If you are opening a Bet9ja account this month, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What the YOHAIG code actually does

There is a promo field on the Bet9ja sign-up form, and plenty of new users leave it blank. Put YOHAIG in the field and the account picks up the welcome offer, which runs to a maximum of ₦100,000 based on what you deposit first. It is a one-time box, because the code will not attach to an account that already exists.

The code itself is free. It works on new registrations only, and there are rollover terms attached, as there are on every offer of this kind. Check those terms before your first deposit, not after it clears.

Open an account using the code YOHAIG for up to ₦100,000 welcome bonus.

The first week belongs to the national teams

Nations League matchdays three and four fall between 1 and 6 October, which means no club football in the first week. The Super Eagles finish their break against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday 6 October. A kick-off time had not been published when this was written, so check it on the day rather than assuming.

The club season returns on 10 October

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal host Leeds United in the lunchtime slot, Manchester United meet Tottenham Hotspur that evening, and Liverpool against Manchester City follows at Anfield on the Sunday afternoon. A week later you get Everton versus Chelsea, Newcastle United against Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest hosting Arsenal on Sunday evening.

Matchweek eight starts on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town versus Nottingham Forest and peaks with Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. October finishes on Saturday 31st, Chelsea versus Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa against Fulham in the evening.

Worth noting: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on all but one of their 115 charges. The penalty had not been announced when this went up. Any sanction announced mid-season would shift the outright markets sharply, so check the latest before committing to a season-long position.

The clock change nobody plans for

UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, and Nigeria stays put. Until Saturday the 24th, UK and Nigerian kick-off times read identically. From the 25th you add an hour, so a 15:00 English kick-off is 16:00 Nigerian time.

Getting the most out of a busy month

•

• Enter the code at registration, not after. It is a one-time field.

• Set a monthly figure before the clubs come back and stick to it. A month with no pause in it is where discipline slips.

Where to check the current offer

Bonus terms in this market move, so it pays to read the live page rather than trust a screenshot from three months ago. The full breakdown of the current Bet9ja promo code sits on bet9japromotioncode.com.ng, including what the welcome bonus requires.

Between the Super Eagles in Russia, Liverpool against Manchester City at Anfield and four uninterrupted Premier League matchweeks, October has plenty on it. Whatever you back, back it within a figure you set in advance.

Create your account now with the code YOHAIG to claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

New customers only, 18 and over, terms apply. Play responsibly.
