October is where the fixture list stops being polite. A short international stretch comes first, then four straight Premier League matchweeks with nothing in between. If you plan to register with Bet9ja in October, the code you want is YOHAIG.

Where the promotion code fits at registration

Bet9ja puts a promotion code box on the registration form, and it gets skipped more often than you would think. Type YOHAIG into that box and the account is flagged for the welcome offer, worth up to ₦100,000 depending on your first deposit. The code cannot be added afterwards, so the field only works on the way in.

Nothing is charged for the code. It applies to new accounts only, and the bonus carries rollover conditions like every welcome offer in the Nigerian market. Read them on the promo page before you fund the account.

Register with promotion code YOHAIG and claim up to ₦100,000 welcome bonus.

The first week belongs to the national teams

The Nations League plays two more rounds from the 1st to the 6th, and the clubs sit out until after that. Nigeria travel to the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium to face Russia in a friendly on Tuesday 6 October. No kick-off time was confirmed at the time of writing, so look it up before you build anything.

The club season returns on 10 October

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal host Leeds United in the lunchtime slot, Manchester United meet Tottenham Hotspur that evening, and Liverpool against Manchester City follows at Anfield on the Sunday afternoon. The following weekend brings Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United hosting Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal on the Sunday evening.

Matchweek eight starts on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town versus Nottingham Forest and peaks with Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. October finishes on Saturday 31st, Chelsea versus Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa against Fulham in the evening.

There is also the Manchester City case, with the club reportedly found guilty on nearly all of the 115 charges. The penalty had not been announced when this went up. Should a points deduction follow, the outright markets reprice immediately, so read the news before backing anything long-term.

A timing note worth more than most tips

British clocks go back on Sunday 25 October and Nigeria does not move. Until Saturday the 24th, UK and Nigerian kick-off times read identically. From the 25th you add an hour, so a 15:00 English kick-off is 16:00 Nigerian time.

How to approach a month this full

•

• Enter the code at registration, not after. The code only applies to a new account.

• Decide what the whole month costs you before 10 October. A month with no pause in it is where discipline slips.

Keeping up with the promo terms

Offers in the Nigerian market change, so read the current page instead of an old post. The full breakdown of the current Bet9ja promo code sits on bet9japromotioncode.com.ng, including what the welcome bonus requires.

A Super Eagles trip to Russia, Liverpool versus Manchester City at Anfield and four straight matchweeks make for a full month. Stake to a budget you fixed before the month started.
